Benefits and History of Neroli Oil
Perhaps you have heard about Neroli oil . Do you know from where this gorgeous smelling oil is derived? It comes from the blossoms of a bitter orange tree.

The history of this oil dates back to the 17th century. Anne Marie Orsini, The Duchess of Bracciano and Princess of Nerola, Italy, used this oil to perfume her baths and gloves. Since then, we have continued to use it for perfume, aromatherapy, flavoring, and medicine.

As a perfume, it is flowery yet spicy. Using it for aromatherapy has been reported to decrease anxiety, depression, and stress. It is reported to be an aromatic aphrodisiac. In cuisine, the flavor lends a citrus note to food. Neroli has many varying medicinal uses. A few uses include as an anti-bacterial, a scar/spot treatment, and a digestive aid. It also helps cell regeneration.

Neroli oil is one the many fine natural ingredients in our 24k Gold bath soap. It is the main ingredient that gives our soap its luxurious scent. Using our soap in your daily regime will help maintain or achieve ravishing skin.
